Order Rejections
Issue
The client sends an order into the Execution Server (ES) and it is rejected for an unknown reason.
Troubleshooting Options
To troubleshoot this issue:
- Check that trading is not halted.
- Check the defined Risk Limits.
- Check that orders specify the correct destination (or that the ES has expected auto-routing rules configured).
- Check that the order destination is online (for example, the algorithm is deployed, the trading connector is configured, and the destination venue is connected).
- Check who is generating the order reject event and what rejection reason is provided.
