Trading REST/WS API

The primary purpose of the REST/WS API Gateway is to provide access to the order entry and position tracking functionalities of the Ember Order Management System (OMS). Deltix also provides a WebSocket Price Hub that broadcasts market data to a large number of WebSocket subscribers.

The REST/WS API offers only a small subset of features compared to the Java API.

Administrative REST API

In addition to the trading API, Ember Monitor provides an Administrative REST API for operators and automation scripts. It supports halting and resuming trading (kill switch), reading and changing risk limits, querying server-wide positions and adjusting them, enabling and disabling services, and controlling FIX sessions. It has its own authentication and permissions and does not use API keys.
